WHO WE ARE

ABOUT H.U.G: People look up to those who have made it in the society and considers them as their Heroes. To some it will be an exceptional quality that an individual exhibits that there are called _a Christian Non-governmental Organization our true Hero is Jesus Christ and serving under him affords an individual the opportunity to be like your master. The good books say that ‘imitate me as I imitate Christ’. The imitation of Christ is undoubtedly the emergence of Heroism. We believe that every human being is valuable and precious in the sight and possesses unparalleled greatness in them that can propel them to be become Heroes in life. Ultimately with God on our side, we are already Heroes. We are encouraged by the inspired words of the Apostle Paul that ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. (Philippians 4:13).

HISTORY: We often allow life’s circumstances to define the scope of our success and advancement in life. For individuals who are faced with issues beyond their control they definite action has always been to throw in the towel and accept anything and whatever life bring his way. Heroes Under God do not and will certainly not accept this submission so the organization realizing that loads of potentials have been under-utilized decided to help humanity realize that there is more their lives than what they are currently experiencing. In 2018, after a personal experience of a situation of a job loss, God impressed it so strongly to start the Christian Non-governmental Organization to help put smiles back on the faces of individuals who feel that life has been very hostile to their personal growth and development. After several community entry and engagements in some communities I could empathize the numerous needs that are prevalent in our communities and that will require that we raise up Heroes who are not defined by their present conditions and will not allow their present condition to determine their future reality led to the establishment of the Christian Non-governmental Organization in  the early part of 2019.

STATEMENT OF FAITH:

1. There is but one God who is eternally existent in there persons, each of whom are fully and equally God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4-5, Matt. 28:19, Gen. 1:1, 1:26)
2. God created man and woman perfect in His own image, but they fell into sin through wilful disobedience and thus the whole human race was cut off from fellowship with God. (Gen. 1:27, Gen. 3, Romans 3:12, 23, 5:12)
3. Real human life exists from the moment of conception and is sacred special, and endued with dignity regardless of physical or mental condition, since God created us in His own image.
